Inconsistency[]
Why do they all think Samey is Amy, when they saw Samey without a mole when Amy was eliminated? I am sure that they did not call both of them Amy when they both were in the season? So when Amy is gone, they see the mole on Samey's face, and they think it is Amy? Did they forget that Amy was cannoned? It is just a bit too weird.Jayden-G (talk) 23:34, June 18, 2014 (UTC)

I can understand a bit of what they're saying, and by using context clues I know what they said, In the third episode Amy ate the apple that caused a horrible rash, well I guess when Amy ate the apple it swelled ip her throat andshe couldn't talk, When Amy was choking Samey or Sammy said " Oh don't worry, she's just trying to get attention, right Samey." or something among those lines, so Chris thought that Amy was Sammey and eliminated Amy, Amy was still unable to speak andcould not defend herself by telling Chris the truth. The the next episode they Samey put a mole on pretending to be Amy since everyone thought that that Samey was gone, but it was actually Amy. I know this is a bit confusing but the moral of it is: Samey made Chris think that Amy was Samey, so everyone though Samey was sent home. Is Pahkitew Island better than Revenge of the Island?[]
From the first 5 episodes I've watched from PI so far, I actually think this season was much better than Revenge of the Island. They developed their characters more, the designs match their personalities (although I still find Max's a bit weird). So why am I more entertained by this cast than the Revenge of the Island cast?
Like many others, when the show introduced the third cast of characters, I thought they had just run out of ideas. Some characters looked like they were going to be carbon copies of previous characters and some designs (especially Max's) looked out of place, like they didn't belong in Total Drama. Even after the first episodes storyboard was leaked, I was still uncertain this would be a good season. But when the episodes were released in Italy, I decided to watch the first two episodes. And to my suprise, despite not knowing Italian, I could tell the writers had really improved. Was it up to the first and second seasons standards? No. But I could tell from the amount of scenes and dialogue that the characters were in, were actually getting more focus than the challenges. I was really impressed, considering how unsucessful All Stars was and the fact this was the second time the show introduced a new cast.Everytime it looked like there would introduce an aspect that would ruin the show (e.g. Sky and Daves relationship), the show would suprise me in how different they would approach this, making it more entertaining and clever. The characters and conflicts and relationships matched perfectly (even though there are only 5 episodes so far). I think it was also the fact that this cast overall are really over the top. I mean, were more likely to meet people like Dave and Sky than people like Ella, Max and Topher. But even the "normal" contestants like Dave and Sky are played to the extreme as well, such as Dave's hatred for dirt/germs and Sky's gymnastic skills (again you don't meet people who use those skills to help them in daily life). It was much more fun to watch than ROTI. I was thinking to myself, "this is what the 4th season should have been like". But why wasn't it?
Well, Revenge of the Island was the first season to introduce a completely new cast, which many people had mixed reactions on. I didn't get the same pleasure from Revenge of the Island because the cast were either competitive jerks or really nice bland people. I'm talking about Zoey and Mike mainly, because when Mike wasn't one of his personalities, he was just so bland and Zoey...well how are you supposed to portray an "Indie Chick" on a show like Total Drama. We know that Indie Chicks like bands that aren't signed to big record labels and some believe that an Indie chick could be another kind of hipster. But neither of those things are really shown through Zoey's character in ROTI. All we know about Zoey is that she doesn't like jocks, has lived a lonely childhood and is just nice. If Total Drama wasn't going to build Zoeys character round a Indie Chick, why did they give her that label? I know it's changed to a "sweet girl" in All Stars, but when we were first introduced to her, we didn't know that. Although I hate Anne Maria with a passion, at least her design actually matched her personality (a Jersey shore reject). If anything, I think Zoeys original design was more interesting than her current one because she looked somewhat like an Indie Chick or Hipster. Another problem was the premise of the show was set on a radioactive Wawanakua. Whilst this opened up more jokes and gags, they just got too much focus. Most of the challenges were radioactive themed and they got more focus than the characters themselves, leaving a lack of development for the majority of the cast.
So what do you guys think? Which do you like better? Third Gen or Second Gen?

Third gen, for sure. It makes up for Revenge of the Island's sexism (as in one point in ROTI there were 3 more boys than girls...). The characters are, and I think everyone else will agree, much more fun and they are all being portrayed better. I could tell the writers had gotten better too. Maybe all they needed was a change of cast...some writers are better with other characters than with others, I suppose. Even Max and Ella are starting to grow on me, and I hated them with a passion. Although I did think I was going to like Sugar, but her being so mean to Ella all the time has really bothered me. So to sum it up third gen. And, I may get a lot of hate for this, but I believe the third gen is the best cast overall. ROTI arugably had the worst one. I still like the second cast better than the third cast. The third cast overall is a bit too much, and there is only like 3 of them that I actually like. Samey is not coming back. There needs to be a reward episode (the next episode), and there are 8 contestants left. There will be a double elimination, meaning no returns. She will probably appear in the finale though.Jayden-G (talk) 21:31, June 19, 2014 (UTC)
Although the characters seem more childish, it still has that mature humor in it. For ex when Max's pants fell down. What will The Ridonculous Race characters personalities be like? So far only four characters have been released and it's pretty obvious there personalities will be different from any other previous contestants. Let's start with Ryan, I feel like he is the easiest character to talk about because when you look at him and Stephanie, he's the one you focus on. I feel he'll have a deep voice, and somewhat cocky attitude, but this is just judging on his appearance. There's is no doubt he'll be one of the strongest characters. Now for Carrie, she looks like the Zoey type, super sweet, and cute. Judging on her appearance, she looks like a sweet girl, who might cry once or twice, it's kind of hard not to see her with tears in her eyes. Devin looks like a Trent remodel he's the only one of the four who I can see being normal ( aside from Carrie and upcoming contestant reveals.) I can kind of see him being a little quirky, but that's all I have to say fro him. Now for Stephanie, all I can say for her is that she's an Anne Maria wannabe. Now I want to here from you. What do you think there personalities will be like? Do you agree with me or not?
